Bokimonge Ward MCA George Bibao has urged area parents to use their resources to develop local schools hence making them centers of excellence.
Bibao has expressed concern over local communities' failure to support nearby schools.
Speaking at Endereti Mixed Secondary School, Bomachoge Borabu Sub-County, during a book donation event, Biboa challenged local communities to enroll their children in local secondary schools.
"I am urging you to consider developing schools around so that we can develop our area," said Bibao.
"This can only be achieved if parents accept to enroll their children in local schools. It has to start with us," notes Bibao.
Bibao noted that promoting area schools will not only improve literacy levels among local community members but also open up opportunities for them in the current devolved system.
