Parents in Bonchari constituency have expressed their happiness following the announcement by the CDF committee that CDF application forms will be available starting today Monday February 26, 2018.
CDF chairman Antony Nyamao on Monday said CDF application forms will be disbursed across the local chiefs’ offices in the constituency for parents to pick and apply for CDF funds.
“Parents are advised to pick the forms from local chiefs’ offices, fill and submit them by March 10th to Suneka CDF offices for processing,” said Nyamao.
Parents lauded the area MP John Oyioka for his efforts to ensure they get the CDF funds to help them clear outstanding fee balances.
"We are happy because the fee balances we have in various schools will be settled once the CDF money will be released,” said Mwangi Mokua.
Jane Mokaya said she has been struggling to settle for Sh20,000 for her two children who are studying at a local secondary school in the region.
"I will now apply for the CDF funds because I am sure my two children may be awarded at least Sh10,000,” she said.
The parents were speaking on Monday morning when they collected application forms from Suneka CDF offices.
