Human rights activist Boniface Mwangi who is sitting for his KCSE exams has said that Deputy President William Ruto is to blame in case he fails the tests.
Mwangi who is sitting the exams as a private candidate in an interview with the Nation said that he was distracted after being sued by Ruto over defamation claims.
According to Mwangi, he had planned to focus on the exams but after being sued by Ruto, his lawyer Gitobu Imanyara tasked him with the duty of conducting a background media research on the ongoing case.
“I had planned to take a sabbatical to prepare for the exams then Ruto sued and i haven’t been able to study much. My lawyer Gitobu Imanyara tasked me to do a background media research on this case. Instead of studying for my exams, i have been busy preparing for the Ruto case and the book launch.,” said Mwangi.
He maintained that regardless of the exam outcome, it won't be the end of his life.
“Regardless of the results it won't be the end of life,” said Mwangi.
Mwangi is currently involved in a legal tussle with Ruto after he accused the DP of being behind the death of businessman Jacob Juma.
