Activist Boniface has called for other National super Alliance (NASA) leaders to make a coup within the coalition.
According to Mwangi, Raila Odinga is old and will never be the president of the country and so other leaders within the coalition should take over the leadership of the coalition.
Mwangi further queried the truce between Raila and President Uhuru Kenyatta and he wonders if the opposition chief will continue chastising the government over corruption and other wrongs committed during the electioneering period.
"The burning question, how-ever is, will Raila, as he enjoys that handshake, continue to call out Uhuru on corruption, disregarding court orders and police brutality? Will Raila demand electoral justice, compensation for the victims killed by police in peaceful protests, or will he keep quiet? To the orphans in Nasa, the lion is old; it’s time for a coup. Take over!" posted Mwangi on Facebook on Friday.
The activist further called on Raila to nurture other young leaders who will take over from him once he exits the political stage.
This way, he (Raila) will leave behind a legacy as he would left behind other people to continue with the 'struggle' he has been engaged in his entire life.
"If Raila wants to be a forest, he must plant more trees and nurture other young leaders. If he has learnt any lesson, let it be that his legacy depends on the people he will nurture and leave behind to continue with the struggle he has been involved in his entire life," added Mwangi.
