Activist Boniface Mwangi has revealed that he is in the race for the Starehe Parliamentary seat set for 2017.

Speaking on Saturday during the unveiling of his book 'Unbounded' at Alliance Francaise, the photojournalist said he was banking on the financial and moral support from people of goodwill in the area.

"I will vie for MP Starehe. I still intend to speak courage fluently. I am counting on your love, votes and financial support to become the next Starehe MP. Together we can do it," Mwangi later wrote on his Facebook account.

Other aspirants in the race include incumbent Maina Kamanda, businessman Francis Mwangi, Mwaniki Kwenya among others.
