Human Rights activist Boniface Mwangi will lock horns with Starehe MP Maina Kamanda in the much anticipated 2017 polls.
Mwangi’s announcement comes barely a month after being involved in an online burst with DP William Ruto over the death of controversial businessman Jacob Juma.
However, Mwangi who has been critical of both the opposition and government had earlier revealed in his Twitter account that he will not join Jubilee or Cord.
“I will vie for Starehe constituency Member of Parliament seat. I intend to speak courage fluently and I am counting on your vote,” read his Facebook post on Saturday.
“It will not be easy but I also count on your financial support to make my dreams a reality. Together we can do it,” said the outspoken activist.
