[Photo|Busia County Government]The Kenya medical Training College Busia Campus now has Nursing Courses in full gear.This is after the Nursing Council gave it a nod after clinical medicine was rolled out last year.Head of Nursing Department Heronimo Wesonga said there are 100 students undertaking Nursing Courses at the Campus with 91 taking Clinical Medicine.He said KMTC began the process of admitting students in May 2017 with the second batch admitted in September. The third admission will be in March 2018, adding that those admitted in March will be self sponsored.There are 44 students undertaking Clinical Medicine in year one and 49 in year two. The course will take two and half years while Nursing will take three and half years.
