[Photo|Lee Kinyanjui]Nakuru Governor Lee Kinyanjui on Friday met Lucia Fragoso the Portugal Charge' d'Affaires in Kenya who paid him a courtesy call.They discussed at length on mutual relationship and common interest.Portugal has interest in Nakuru County especially at KenGen in Naivasha and would want to improve on those interest especially in renewable energy, tourism, flower industry and textile sector.It is also interested in bringing trade missions from Portugal to Nakuru to explore on investment opportunities and exchange programme in education and cultural activities. Kinyanjui indicated the need to partner in value addition industry especially in agricultural based sector, enhance tourism industry in Naivasha, water, health, business opportunities for produce.He further extended an invitation to Portuguese companies through the Portugal mission to the county's proposed International Investor Conference to be held this year.
