The launch was presided over by Tourism Cabinet Secretary Najib Balala and his colleagues, James Macharia (Transport, Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development), Dr. Fred Matiang'i (Interior and National Coordination) and Dr. Cleopa Mailu (Health).The signing of the new service delivery charter marks a new beginning for customer experience within Kenya's national and regional, Airports in the country. According to Macharia, the service charter will not only complement the massive investment that President Uhuru Kenyatta's government has deployed in improving the infrastructure at the Airport buy also guide all agencies working at the airport to assist them to manage customer expectations; and provide Kenya Airports Authority the framework for consultation with the airport users and enable various agencies to constantly measure and assess their performance against the set targets. Also present during the launch was the Inspector General of Police Joseph Boinnet.The leaders affirmed their commitment and support towards the charter.
