Kenya Premier League officials have confirmed that the newly constructed Narok Stadium will be ready to host top flight matches before the end of the month.

This follows the latest inspection tour of the venue by KPL Technical, Safety and Security committee on Wednesday.

Narok County Sports Director Ben Paul Kariuki said that they have been allowed to apply finishing touches before the final inspection.

The stadium has attracted interests from AFC Leopards and Kariobangi Sharks.

“Everyone wants to play in this stadium and in fact now we have started telling people it has already been booked. We are still busy constructing the perimeter fence and what we’re doing now is putting the wire mesh before it can be declared ready for matches.

“We also got recommendations on how to develop the playing service, although it is ready, but we are going to call for a roller to put the final touches,” Kariuki said.
