Opposition team received a major boost on Saturday after Chief Agent; Musalia Mudavadi joined campaigns ahead of October polls.

For almost a fortnight, Mudavadi, who is also in charge of campaigns, travelled to UK for personal businesses, leading to anxiety among the opposition supporters.

But at Vihiga on Saturday, Mudavadi dismissed speculations that he had opted out of the alliance as purported in various social media platforms.

“I want to make it crystal clear that I am in NASA to stay. Those peddling rumours know well that they never won elections.

“As NASA, we want the people of western to know that we are taking over. Jubilee cannot beat us and they know that,” he said.

As Chief Campaigner, Mudavadi is in charge of logistics within the opposition team and the main coordinator across the country.

Throughout his stay abroad, NASA’s campaigns were only limited within Nairobi and its environs, a trend that changed immediately he landed.
