Thirdway Alliance Presidential candidate Ekuru Aukot may after all back opposition leader Raila Odinga in the presidential elections scheduled November.

In unlikely turnout of events, Aukot retracted his commendation to President Uhuru Kenyatta and questioned the integrity of elections with Odinga in Supreme Court.

And during the NASA’s presser at Lavington following nullification of President Uhuru Kenyatta’s election, Aukot spent most f his time with Odinga.

Earlier outside the Supreme Court, Aukot demanded resignation of IEBC officials and urged the United Nations to oversee elections.

Although his support may not be that significant, he may be helpful in campaigns especially in Northern Kenya, home to a number of marginalized communities.

Aukot is an international lawyer of high repute and would be remembered for crafting the constitution of Kenya and that of Liberia.

However, despite his indication to support Odinga, his name will still remain in the ballot paper due to strict guidelines of the law.
