National Super Alliance (NASA) flag bearer Raila Odinga has received an endorsement from another party from Gusii Land. The Federal Party of Kenya (FPK) has announced that its preferred presidential candidate is Raila Odinga.
The declaration comes after it was reported that Nyamira Senator Kennedy Mong’are was the party’s chosen presidential candidate. FPK party leader Andrew Kutilila faulted the media for misleading the public about the matter.
He further stated that Mong’are is not an FPK member hence he does not qualify to vie on its ticket and also they have no agreement with the senator.
However, it is said that the Nyamira Senator will be taking a shot at the presidency on a Liberal Party ticket as opposed to FPK reports. This is a boost to Odinga who is seeking Gusii support to oust incumbent Uhuru Kenyatta.
Meanwhile, NASA leaders were in Nakuru after the Israel trip by the presidential candidate.
They launched an attack on Jubilee for failing to fulfill their 2013 promises. They said what Kenyans got as a reward was unemployment, hunger, and insecurity among other hardships. Raila Odinga took that opportunity to unveil the seven pillars that will direct his reign should he win in August.
