Kisumu governor Jack Ranguma, took his re-election campaigns to Nyakach Sub County, Tuesday.

The Independent Candidate made stopovers in various trading centres to address supporters, who turned up to listen to him.

Ranguma who faces rivalry from ODM candidate, senator Prof Anyang' Nyong'o, visited Pap Onditi, Sondu, and Kadiang'a where Nyakach elders endorsed his re-election bid in major rally dubbed 'Kadiang'a Declaration'.

He affirmed Nyakach residents that he had their interests at heart, and that he would ensure they are recognised in terms of development projects, once he takes second term.

Ranguma, who fell out with the ODM party during the April primaries, said he was ready to take the lakeside city notch higher once again.

"That Nyakach has decided it's 'RangumaTena' is evident. The doubting Thomases should see for themselves," said the governor.
