A section of Uasin Gishu women aspirants who lost in their bids for various elective positions during the Jubilee party primaries have pledged to support Gladys Boss Shollei for the Women Representative seat.

Addressing the press at the Kenmosa village in the outskirts of Eldoret town, Friday, the women aspirants led by Irene Malel who vied for Women rep seat and Senate hopeful Victoria Kap Kiai challenged other primaries loosers to support the winners.

They further pledged to support Prof. Margret Kamar and all other aspirants who won the Jubilee party tickets.

"As women leaders in this county we've decided to stand solidly behind Shollei and all the Jubilee party nominees. We will ensure they will all the seats," noted Malel.

"We also want to urge our people to support Prof. Margaret Kamar for the Senate seat. Let's try a woman in Senate this time round as we always say what a man can do a woman can do better," added Kiai.

The women also assured that they would campaign for President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto and help them win the presidency.
