The incumbent Nairobi Women Rep Rachel Shebesh has promised to set aside her differences with Senator Mike Mbuvi Sonko in his quest to occupy City Hall.

Shebesh has been at loggerheads with Sonko over the past few years and even proved her dislike for the senator by backing the gubernatorial bid of Peter Kenneth who was fell in the Jubilee primaries.

However, Sonko can now rest easy after the 'Manzi wa Nai' as she is popularly known declared that she will work with Sonko and even pull together her Jubilee support base in Nairobi to vote for him.

"We had our issues with the senator, we even had our issues with Kidero, they are behind me solidly and I dont give them time anymore because they are a waste of energy and they don't get my focus. So I told you I am focused, we will deliver Nairobi we will work as a team," she said.

Shebesh was speaking on Citizen TV during an interview.

She will face ODM's Esther Passaris in the August elections.
