Led by gubernatorial hopefuls Gideon Mung'aro and Kazungu Kambi, the leaders vowed to champion the agenda of UhuRuto in a region that is largely perceived as an opposition stronghold.
Speaking earlier in the week, Kambi noted that he had united with Mung'aro and they are set to roll out a massive campaign in the Coast region in the coming weeks in a move aimed at popularizing the candidature of the Head of State.
“We shall be having a strategic meeting this week to plan our campaign and begin vote-hunting for Jubilee Party in Kilifi,” he said.
Both Kambi and Mung'aro lost their gubernatorial bid to the incumbent governor Amason Kingi of ODM.
They vied on a Kadu-Asili and Jubilee party ticket respectively during the just concluded August 8 general elections.
During last month's polls Nasa presidential candidate Raila Odinga garnered over 250, 000 votes in Kilifi county against Uhuru's 49, 693.
