President Uhuru Kenyatta’s reelection bid has received a major backing after Kisii NASA coordinator Richard Onyonka urged locals to vote him.
Initially, the Kitutu Chache South MP had briefly worked with Jubilee before decamping for his ODM party which he later on ditched for Ford Kenya.
And on Sunday at Iranda, the controversial legislator shocked opposition family when he openly called for election of Uhuru and Kisii Women Representative Jubilee aspirant Doris Aburi.
“I still love Jubilee and I want to urge you to vote Uhuru because he means good for our people,” said Onyonka, who doubles as NASA chairman Kisii County.
He added: “I have no issues with him and he is a good choice. I also challenge you to vote Doris because she is capable of doing this job.”
Early this year at Bomas, Onyonka was humiliated by ODM supporters when he made a surprise comeback to the party that had sponsored him to parliament.
At the moment, the second term legislator is Deputy Party leader to NASA principal Moses Wetangula’s Ford Kenya party.
