The late Ronald Nyakweba is said to have been shot dead by a gangsters in front of his wife and children, with the wife Alice Nyakweba claiming that three of the killers were in Police uniform.

They blamed the government for shoddy investigations and vowed to sue the government adding that it was allegedly hampering investigations.

Speaker after speaker condemned the incident and hinted a possible foul play since the suspected robbers are said not to have stolen anything.

“I am very sad that I can lose my husband in circumstances that can be investigated, yet no arrest has been made so far. I witnessed the death together with my children and I can confirm that three of the gangs were wearing AP uniform,” claimed widow Nyakweba.

“This matter must end up in court because we have evidence in relation to the death. The police are even hampering investigations by CID and that is where the problem begins and we need clear answers,” added Adams Obiri, relative.

However, Sargent Wilfred Kipchirchir dismissed the speculations and asked residents to be calm and pave way for proper investigations.

“They are jeopardising investigations and therefore I request them to desist from blame games and allow us to carry out conclusive investigations,” advised Officer Kipchirchir.
