Borabu Member of Parliament Ben Momanyi has called on Borabu constituency residents to join and cooperate with him with regards to development initiatives.
According to him, development can never be successful if there is no unity between the residents and the current leaders.
Speaking on Monday at Nyasiongo in his constituency, Momanyi challenged the residents to consult him if there was anything they felt should be done in relation to development in the area.
He also promised to commence the construction of the Kijauri-Manga-Raitigo-Nyamecheo-Metamayu road network from next month.
“From next month, i am going to construct the Kijauri road up to Metamayu to ease transportation in this constituency,” he said.
Momanyi also promised to put up bumps along Chepilat-Keroka road to reduce accidents that have been occurring in the recent days.
The residents have lauded their Mp for the plans he has put aside to do for them. They have further challenged him to urge the Nyamira county government to put up water projects in the constituency since there is scarcity of water in the area.
