On Tuesday a group of residents from Nyansiongo Township appreciated Momanyi for the ongoing construction of Nyansiongo-Manga road which they claimed has been in a bad state since independence.

According to them, MP Momanyi has played a crucial role by working together with Kenya Rural Roads Authority to open and repair roads that had been completely closed due to their impassable conditions making it impossible for them to transport their farm produce to nearby towns.

“MP Momanyi is a man of people. He has really worked very well with the authorities to help us open up some crucial roads that we use for transporting our farm produce. This is a major benefit to us since he took over in 2013,” said Elvis Mouko, the area resident.

Another Constituency resident Evans Onsongo said, “Borabu has gotten to where it should be, since without roads, it is impossible for a region to progress.”

They however asked leaders who have been critical of the MP’s leadership to give constructive criticism that can help the MP improve on his administration.

“MP Momanyi may not be perfect, but if one, a group has an issue with him, He/ it should table the issue before the MP and come with suggestions that can help us move forward since the MP is accessible and has no record of dismissing his critics,” added Onsongo.
