On Tuesday during a thanks giving ceremony at Mwongori Secondary, speaker after speaker seemed to condemn EACC of the troubles the once seasoned politician from the region is facing months after he was appointed to the post by President Uhuru Kenyatta.

They accused EACC of shoddy investigations and faulted the president for disclosing the information to the public, that saw at least four cabinet secretaries and principal secretaries also step aside to pave way for investigations.

“All this time we have seen Mr. Osero serve people even through his own money. He is a very honest and transparent man and I honestly think politics are being played here and that is unacceptable,” said Trevor Omwenga.

“The president should have taken time to analyze the information before releasing it to the public. Otherwise, the law was not followed because parliament should have received the information first,” he said.

They asked parliament to disband EACC team over the infightings between its top leadership, accusing it of incapability to fight corruption.

“They (EACC) have been fighting one another and it is therefore surprising that they are mentioning individuals without proper investigations. This body should be disbanded to pave way for fresh minds,” he said.

Mr. Osero was appointed to the position after losing closely to the current MP Hon Ben Momanyi in the 2013 General elections.
