Erick Orangi emerged the winner after a competitive interview exercise that was done early last month.

Orangi defeated Evans Ombui and Josephat Mochere in the contest. 

Issuing the letter of appointment to Orangi on Monday, Bomariba location chief Triphosa Orina said that it is time for the people of Boroko to be served with the new administrator after the retirement of area assistant chief. 

"It is now time for Orangi to serve his people. It is our hope that he will represent the people well and make wise decisions to cases that will be brought before his office by locals amicably," said Triphosa. 

Orangi expressed his happiness and promised to serve the people of Boroko sub-location with justice.
