Bosamaro Chache residents are living in fear of increased insecurity cases in the area.
The locals are complaining over increased cases of robbery, which have become rampant in recent days.
A more recent case happened early this week when alleged robbers pitched camp in the area, and engaged police, who had been called to neutralize the situation, in running battles.
The thieves are said to have broken into different homes with the view of stealing but were outthought by the officers.
The locals say there are suspects amongst them, who are aiding other rustlers from other areas to break into homes.
The area has over the years been prone to such cases, with leaders often stepping in to help find a solution.
Other cases of insecurity have also been reported, with robbers breaking inot a home in the area and stealing over Sh50,000.
They are now calling on the local administration to step in and find a solution, as the thieves have become a menace.
They have further warned that they will take the matter into their own hands if the administration does not step in to help.
