Kitutu Masaba MP Timothy Bosire has yet again dismissed folding Jubilee initial parties insisting that the move cannot work in a growing democracy.
Bosire further says that coalition politics are likely to take centre stage in the country for many more years to come.
In his Wednesday column in the Standard, Bosire said Jubilee Party could fuse out in few years’ time due to lack of solid ideologies.
“Jubilee party has no space in Kenyan politics. It has no clear agenda and was as a result of hiding in failures and incompetence,” he wrote.
“Coalition politics are inevitable and that is why NASA will go places. Already we have seen cracks in the Jubilee party,” he added.
A host of parties among them TNA and URP were folded to pave way for the larger Jubilee party, a move that met resistance from a number of politicians.
Kiraitu Murungi, the mastermind behind formation of JP, was quoted recently conceding that the country is not ready for such a party.
Already, parties such as Maendeleo Chap Chap, KANU and PNU have refused to dissolve in favour of JP despite supporting President Uhuru Kenyatta’s re-election.
