President Uhuru Kenyatta should be ready for another ‘heightened’ political duel should he visit Gusii region on Thursday, Kitutu Masaba MP Timothy Bosire has said.

Uhuru has publicly taken Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho and his Turkana counterpart Josephat Nanok head-on, a move that has drawn attention from among Kenyans.

And for Bosire, Kenyatta should embrace tolerance and peace in public functions adding that his recent tantrums on opposition leaders will not scare them.

“I can see he has energy to handle his perceive opponents ruthlessly. I am waiting that to happen when he visits Kisii,” said the ODM national treasurer during Monday’s Press Conference.

The first term legislator added: “He should differentiate public functions from private ones. I am ready to face him when he tours Kisii.”

On Monday, GSU officers acting on an order from above blocked Joho from accessing the venue in which the president was commissioning Ferry Services.

Understandably, Bosire took the president head on in 2016 when he refused Uhuru’s order to stand in honour of soldiers who had died in Somalia.

Sources close to Jubilee campaigns indicates that Kenyatta will tour Gusii region from Thursday this week.
