Bosire is expected to face stiff challenge from  Shadrack Mose of Jubilee and philanthropist Victor Ogeto of Wiper among others.

Speaking to this writer, Bosire said his development record in a short duration he's been in Parliament speaks for itself.

He said he has served all residents fairly regardless of their political affiliations and insisted that they will help him deliver victory in 2017.

“I am going to win because people have stood with me all through because of my development record. I have served everyone fairly because I understand what we went through in the past regimes,” he said.

“We have established good road networks than before, renovated schools and hospitals without forgetting fair distribution of bursaries to needy students in my constituency. I believe my people will vote me again,” he said.

He warned his opponents against politicising development initiated by him and urged locals to stand firm whenever he introduces projects to their areas.

“I know some politicians moving around to politicise projects which I initiate. The community should never allow such enemies of progress. They should wait and face me in the elections rather than being an impediment to development,” he said.
