The outspoken MP has been a key point man for opposition leader Raila Odinga and is widely respected as the community’s spokesperson by a number of area residents.

And on Saturday, Bosire warned Jubilee aspirants of resounding defeat should they continue supporting the Jubilee regime.

“The reason why our people are suffering is because of the Jubilee regime which plays divide and rule tactics and politics of division. It’s absurd that some people think they can be elected on the Jubilee Party ticket yet this is an ODM zone,” he said.

“We cannot allow them to propagate Jubilee agenda to this region and they have few months remaining to decamp to the safer side or face fierce rebellion from the pro-change crusaders. We can’t afford to tolerate Jubilee in Gusii,” he added.

The ODM national treasurer drummed support for the opposition saying it was the only alternative to rescue the country's economy and called for the six–piece voting system that would see ODM win many seats in the region.
