Speaking in Meru County when he accompanied Cord leader Raila Odinga for the voter registration mobilisation campaign, Bosire called for a probe into the national exams results released late last year by Education Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang'i.

The MP said it is illogical that only 15 per cent of candidates who sat the examinations passed.

"It is either that the students who sat the examinations were foolish or there is something wrong with the education system," Bosire said.

He alleged that the Jubilee administration, just like health sector, it has messed with the education system.

Raila echoed Bosire's sentiments calling for disciplinary action against those he termed are culpable in perpetuating the mass failure.

He urged President Uhuru Kenyatta to form a commission of inquiry to audit the results.
