A section of Kitutu Masaba residents have lauded area MP Timothy Bosire for the ongoing infrastructural development across the constituency.
This comes after the official tarmacking of Kemera-Amabuko road that has been subject to politicking in the past commenced.
Speaking to the reporter on Tuesday, the residents led by Amos Nyachoti lauded Bosire for initiating the project, and urged residents to give contractors time to finish the highway that will link major productive areas.
“Once again we want to thank MP Bosire and his team for great work they are doing in improving our infrastructure not just our roads but also schools. Tarmacking of this road is a good indication that we are making huge strides in developing our region,” he said.
“We all understand that the contractors have a specified period of time that they will be required to have completed the project and it’s my wish that we will them time to do their job. The MP is doing his best and we must respect the little he is doing,” he added.
They warned politicians from politicising construction of the road and vowed to defend the record of the incumbent MP.
“This road was identified over eight years ago and it’s sad that some politicians are politicising its construction. Let the MP do his work as long as the contractors are within the stipulated period,” he said.
