Presently, 126 schools -both primary and secondary- of the 179 institutions have received funding for infrastructural development.

Speaking at Mosobeti Primary School grounds on Monday, Bosire urged residents to give his leadership ample time to improve infrastructure in local schools.

“I have to reach all public schools and deliver cheques for infrastructural development by the end of 2017. It’s my obligation to serve my people without prejudices,” he said.

Bosire added: “I cannot go to all places at the same time and so patience is key on this matter. All schools must get their share because it’s your money. My team is working around the clock to boost development.”

The ODM national Treasurer challenged recipients to prudently use the resources and vowed to take them head on incase of misappropriation.

“School management should ensure the little we give out is prudently used to avoid stalling of projects. I will be doing auditing and those who may be tempted to misappropriate the resources will face the full force of the law,” he said.
