Orange Democratic Movement National Treasurer Timothy Bosire has dared President Uhuru Kenyatta to pour resources in Gisii region but insisted that the move won’t change Jubilee’s sinking boat.
The President launched his Gusii campaign which will be headed by Charles Nyachae and is keen to woo the region to government having made a combined 17 trips with his Deputy to the region since 2013.
And on Monday, defiant Bosire dismissed in roads by Jubilee to the region perceived to be ODM stronghold and urged Jubilee bigwigs to learn from the recently concluded Nyacheki by elections.
“Uhuru is free to open his fat wallet but I want to assure him that Gusii people are tired with his administration which lacks ethics and embraces corruption. It only governs the country by secluding other regions from development where Gusii region is a victim,” he said.
“I have said again and again that this is an ODM and we showed them at Nyacheki. Our people will always eat his money and vote the right candidate and we all know its Raila. As ODM, we will ensure Jubilee team getting nothing from Gusii,” he said.
At least 700,000 votes will be up for grabs in the region and recently, two former ODM rebels Richard Onyonka and Simon Ogari reunited with the party accusing Jubilee of unfulfilled promises.
