Kitutu Masaba MP Timothy Bosire has accused DP William Ruto of allegedly spreading ‘propaganda’ on developmental matters to woo Gusii voters.
For the better part of Thursday, Ruto traversed Nyamira and Kisii counties where he promised that Jubilee was on the process of completing key infrastructural projects.
But an agitated Bosire has accused Ruto of peddling rumours over Manga-Motemomwamu road and Kemera-Amabuko road which he claims have been sabotaged by Jubilee administration.
“The DP is a propagandist and should know that we are not that dumb. He knows that most of these roads are under construction and have been sabotaged by Jubilee,” he said.
“In particular, the Manga-Motemomwamu road is an annex of Kemera-Amabuko which Jubilee is reluctant to fund. We are tired with such lies,” he said.
Bosire, who is defending his seat on an ODM ticket, has been a consistent critic of Jubilee regime and at some point; he was arrested for an alleged hate speech.
At his backyard, Ruto backed City lawyer Shadrack Mose, who is making a forth trial to reclaim Kitutu Masaba constituency.
