Kitutu Masaba MP Timothy Bosire has accused Ford-Kenya leader Moses Wetang'ula of being a leader who takes advantage of circumstances in his favour.
In his article appearing in the Star on Tuesday, Bosire wrote that Wetang'ula may not have been driven by the ideals of the opposition at the time he joined Cord to try and transform Kenya.
"If you look at Ford Kenya leader Moses Wetang’ula, it has been a case of being in government and in the opposition as the opportunity arose. The opposition may not have been basically his orientation in trying to transform this country. It had to do with opportunity as and when it was available," he wrote.
The ODM national treasurer, however, has insisted that his party leader, Raila Odinga, still remains the strongest opposition candidate to deliver a victory in the forthcoming August 8 elections.
He has praised Raila's reliance in the fight to liberate the country from oppression by regimes and his urge to transform the lives of Kenyans.
Raila has been and remains the foremost opposition presidential contender: He will deliver a resounding victory at the August 8 General Election.
Raila has played his game basically in the Opposition because he has a strong conviction that this country requires major and fundamental changes for purposes of trying to transform the lives of Kenyans.
