Former Kitutu Masaba MP Timothy Bosire has accused Jubilee leadership of protecting the 'dirty' IEBC ahead of the repeat presidential election slated for next month.
In an opinion piece published by the Standard on Wednesday, Bosire claimed Jubilee is intending to rig the poll, just like it did in August 8.
"Doesn't it surprise that when IEBC boss Wafula Chebukati is virtually admitting his team messed and is inviting the DPP to investigate his officers, Jubilee leaders are falling over each other shouting in defence of the tainted commission?" he posed.
Bosire said Jubilee's President Uhuru Kenyatta is fearing that he can't defeated Raila Odinga of NASA in a transparent poll.
"It is an indication that they won't win in a free and fair election. That is why I strongly propose that the United Nations (UN) should step in and conduct the fresh election for us to actually have free and fair elections," the legislator added.
