Politicians allied to Jubilee government from Gusii region have been given an ultimatum of two months to join the opposition or risk losing their political quest.

ODM national treasurer Timothy Bosire on Monday fired a warning to them insisting that Gusii region will remain an opposition stronghold.

Bosire had accompanied former Prime Minister Raila Odinga to receive Sam Ongeri to ODM after a spell with President Uhuru Kenyatta’s government.

“Kenyans know that ODM will serve them with equity and justice. Those who still think that Jubilee will beat us are wrong,” he told thousands of supporters at Gusii stadium on Monday.

“The door is still open and we are ready to receive more. It is either you work with the Orange party or we send you to political oblivion,” added Bosire.

The fiery Kitutu Masaba MP exuded confidence in a Raila Odinga victory adding that Jubilee administration had failed to develop Gusii region.

His statements were echoed by Kisii Governor James Ongwae and his Nyamira counterpart John Nyagarama.
