Bosire who also doubles as Kitutu Masaba MP in his post on Nyamira ODM Youths WhatsApp group also challenged the young people to try their luck in leadership positions despite their financial status.

“Happy as youths, you are rising to the occasion on matters leadership and development and also fighting for your rights in equitable distribution of resources as enshrined in our constitution,” read the statement.

“You can also make attempts to venture in active politics even though resources impede. Leadership isn’t about money but ability to show the way to a community that needs guidance and bravery.”

The MP who has risen to be opposition leader Raila Odinga’s point man in Gusii land urged the youth people to remain united in opposition ODM and push for change which he said was inevitable.

“Remain united in opposition particularly in ODM as change is inevitable this time around. Keep on being in the right side of history and God bless you,” he said.

Bosire’s statement comes at a time the region is facing a serious challenge from Jubilee government which is making inroads in the region that overwhelmingly voted for ODM.
