Former Kitutu Masaba MP Timothy Bosire has asked Nyamira leaders to stand with the family of Nyamira County Governor John Nyagarama following the demise of his son Ndemo Nyagarama.
The ODM party treasurer said it is a trying period to the family of the county boss and there is need for leaders to desist from divisive politics which may cause more pain to the family.
“As leaders we must embrace peace and comfort the family. This is not the time to engage in divisive politics to bring more pain the bereaved family. Let us pray and comfort the family during this sad moment,” he said.
“Ndemo’s death is a big blow to the entire Nyamira County because he could have become a leader in future.
"He was committed to ensure his father delivers to the electorates but God has taken him before he could see his father fulfilling the promises he made to the people of Nyamira.
"Let us stand with the family so that the deceased can be given a proper sendoff,” he added.
Ndemo, 44, died on Monday evening at Nairobi Hospital following a long battle with acute meningitis.
