Mathare United's Ahmed Bossy Abdallah has resumed training after a spell on the sidelines with injury.
He is hoping to be part of the squad to face Sofapaka on the weekend.
Bossy picked up a knee injury during the pre-season friendlies with the team.
In an interview with a local sports portal, Bossy believes he has trained well and he hopes the coach will pick on him.
"I really felt bad when I got the injury because I had really made some good progress in the preseason friendly matches. However I took the setback positively and the support from the coaches and medical staff really helped me in my recover. It feels good to be back and I am giving my best in training. The international week helped me to catch up with the rest and I am in good shape," said Bossy.
"I have trained well and I am available for selection. However that decision lies with the coach and I hope to get my chance soon," he added.
