A 15-year-old class seven pupil on Wednesday appeared before a Nakuru court charged with stealing a Sumsung phone valued at Sh7,500.

The minor, who appeared before chief magistrate Liz Gichea, was accused of stealing the mobile phone from Haris Mobote at Nakuru’s Nakumatt shopping mall on June 1 this year.

The teenager denied committing the offence.

The magistrate ruled that he be remanded at Nakuru juvenile remand centre to allow for more investigations into the incident.

The case will be heard on June 5.
