The National Super Alliance (NASA) presidential candidate Raila Odinga on Sunday asked women to boycott sex in the eve of August 8 general election.

Raila said his supporters should remain wide-awake and ensure that nothing, including sex, will distract them from reaching the ballot to vote for him.

“I urge all women to boycott sex on the eve of the voting day so that the electorate can be alert and go vote,” he was quoted by the Star while speaking at Afraha stadium during a NASA rally.

The ODM leader added: “We will even go for patients in health facilities to come and vote.”

And to ensure the opposition coalition clinches the victory, he urged the youth to ensure everyone will be out to cast their votes.

“Youths will be going house to house to urge everybody to come out and vote,” he added.

Raila who will have Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka as his running mate asked Nakuru residents to help them send President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto home in August.

“We have the numbers to win in August. All I ask you, people of Nakuru, is for you to come out and help us send Jubilee home,” said the former Prime Minister.

He said the NASA leadership will bring a conclusive resolution of the issue of IDPs and address the past cases of historical injustices through the implementation of the TJRC report.
