Garissa county governor Ali Korane has been urged to brace up for another by election in the coming days after allegedly presenting dubious academic certificates ahead of the August 8 General Elections.
Former Lagdera MP Farah Maalim lashed out at the governor saying he is not a graduate of the University of Nairobi as he claims.
Through his Twitter account, the former National Assembly deputy speaker said the Jubilee governor should stop dismissing him as an election loser when himself is staring at a fresh election.
He added that the governor was setting a wrong example to children with his shortcut to success.
'As to my electability watch as petitions are determined. Garissa Governor's seat will have a by-election too. Concerning my academic exploits, I'm doing my 4th degree (LLM UON). I'm not bragging but our children must be taught by examples to observe the straight paths to success," read part of the tweet.
The Wiper Party deputy leader has since uploaded various copies of letters in his Twitter Handle bearing the university's letterhead to affirm his claims that Mr. Korane is not an alumnus of the institution.
On his part, the governor has since rubbished the allegations promising to respond to it in due time.
