Residents in Nairobi and its environs have been experiencing rainfall on a daily basis since November began, making it difficult for them to continue with their daily activities.

The weatherman said areas such as Central Kenya, Mt Kenya and Nairobi will continue experiencing rainfall until end of December 2016.

Rift Valley, North eastern and Lake Victoria region have been receiving showers and sunny intervals, but residents should expect rainfall according to the weatherman.

Despite heavy rainfall in Nairobi, Western Kenya and the Coastal region such as Mombasa, Kilifi and Kwale have been experiencing sunny intervals with little showers.

The weatherman advised persons residing in lowlands and areas near river banks, to find alternative areas to avoid disaster.

Most parts of the Country have been experiencing floods and destruction of property whenever it rains, due to poor drainage systems.
