[Photo|IEBC]The IEBC chairman Wafula Chebulati has made changes to the electoral body.He had pledged changes in the Secretariat, after the Supreme Court nullified the August 8 presidential election, September 1, ordering fresh presidential election in 60 days.In the new changes, Chebukati appointed the following officials in a project team ahead of the October 17 fresh presidential election.1. Marjan Hussein Marjan - Project Coordinator.2. Dr Sidney Namulungu - Head of Operations.3. Nancy Kariuki - Head of Logistics.4. Bernard Misati Moseti - Head of Training.5. Albert Gogo - Head of ICT, under supervision of the National Returning Officer (Chebukati).6. Silas Rotich - Head of the National tallying centre.In a communication, Tuesday evening, Chebukati indicated the appointments take immediate effect "and will last for a period of 3 months.""As the National Returning Officer, I wish to assure all Kenyans of my commitment to ensure that this fresh presidential election is done in accordance with the Constitution, relevant laws and that it reflects the sovereign will of the Kenyan people," said Chebukati.
