The doctors' strike, arguably the longest in the Kenyan history has finally been called off.
All parties involved signed a joint return to work formula on Tuesday evening, therefore settling the standoff that has paralyzed operations in public hospitals.
The Council of Governors, Ministry of Health and the doctors' union met at Delta House in Westlands Nairobi after being instructed by the court of appeal to find a solution once and for all.
The joint return to work formula has been regarded as a win - win for all parties involved.
The strike has lasted 100 days.
