Form One selection for 2016 KCPE candidates will begin today, December 1, 2016.

The selection will begin immediately the results are released by Education Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang'i.

Over 950, 000 pupils sat the exams in early November.

The students are expected to report to their secondary schools in early January, when schools open.

This is against the norm when the selection used to commence in January and students report in February.
