Football Federation of Kenya has disbanded the whole Harambee Stars technical bench.
According to FKF Media Officer, Barry Otieno, Coach Stanley Okumbi has not been fired since he was in charge in an acting capacity.
“Okumbi was serving on an interim basis since, by the time we had secured Comoros and Central African Republic friendlies, Paul Put was the coach," said Otieno when he spoke to Goal.com
He added: “He was called in to take the team through the two matches. He has since been redeployed as the head coach of the U-20,” Harambee.
This latest development comes a day after Stars lost to the Central Africa Republic in a friendly match played on Tuesday in Morocco.
The match was preceded by a 2-2 draw against minnows Comoros Island.
In total, the Stars' shipped in 5 goals in two matches.
