South Mugirango MP Sylvanus Osoro has pulled through an election petition challenging his re-election.
Judge Anthony Ndung'u in his ruling said that the failure to sign forms by agents was an administrative lapse and could not attract a legal consequence.
"Failure to stamp a form by the electoral agency IEBC is not a legal requirement unless the document in question has authenticity concerns," said the judge.
He also dismissed an argument that there was violence on the election day saying that there was no evidence to prove that.
The case was filed by Denis Makori who emerged second in the August 8, 2017, election.
In his petition, filed through his lawyers Omwanza and Ombati advocates, Mr Makori argued that the election was marred by violence as his chief agent was roughed up.
The judge ordered the petitioner to pay Sh 2.5 million as costs.
