Oswago was on Wednesday morning arrested along with Hamida Ali Kibwana and Trevy Oyombra.

Oyombra is suspected to have been the mastermind behind the Sh46 million bribery scandal involving the printing of ballot papers for the 2010 referendum, Shinyalu and Bamachoge by-elections.

In a video circulating on social media, an infuriated Oswago says, "there is no single investigation into this, a chief executive officer cannot be responsible for all the ills in society."

Other accomplices in the scandal had already been imprisoned in the United Kingdom.

Prosecutors in the UK alleged that the Kenyan electoral officials were paid a sum of Sh46 million bribe to secure the ballot papers printing tender.
