Minority Leader in the National Assembly John Mbadi has been kicked out of the chambers.
Mbadi was ordered out of the assembly for failing to retract his statement that Kenya has no president.
“Mr. Speaker I would rather withdraw from the chamber than withdraw from my statement, There is no president in Kenya,” said a defiant Mbadi.Speaker Justin Muturi then ordered the lawmaker out of the chambers.
The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) chairman is among opposition leaders who have insisted that they will not recognize Uhuru Kenyatta as President.
The National Super Alliance (NASA) boycotted the repeat presidential poll held on October 26.
Uhuru was declared the winner of the election, with 98 percent of the vote.
He was inaugurated on November 28 at the Kasarani Stadium for a second term as president.
